Ogletree Deakins was founded in France in 2017 by lawyers from prestigious French and Anglo-Saxon law firms in Paris who wanted to bring together the best French expertise in employment law and provide excellent advice in a firm dedicated exclusively to the practice of employment law in France, Europe and the Americas. Ogletree Deakins has more than 950 lawyers in 55 offices around the world.

In addition to its headquarters at 58 bis, rue la Boétie in Paris, where its main activities are based, the firm has satellite offices in Nantes, Lyon and Bordeaux to serve its major French clients in their regional territories. Ogletree Deakins’ lawyers work throughout France (in metropolitan France and overseas) on high value-added cases for French institutional groups, CAC 40 and SBF 120 companies, as well as international companies in a variety of sectors (industrial, financial, services, etc.), which they also assist with their day-to-day employment law issues.

Ogletree Deakins is continuing its dynamic development by becoming a major player in the employment law practice of French companies and large groups, which has earned it the Trophée d’Or 2023 for employment restructuring at the Sommet du Droit and a place on the podium of the Palmarès du Droit as one of the top three firms in collective labour relations.

The French employment law firm, which is experiencing steady growth, is made up of a close-knit team of 40 lawyers and professionals, united by strong human values. A team culture is part of Ogletree’s DNA.

What sets the firm apart is the consistency of a large team of labour and employment lawyers, with a focus on recruiting quality people, both professionally and personally, who all work as part of a team.

Ogletree Deakins is also committed to the ongoing training of student lawyers, many of whom have joined the firm as associates.

We recruit to support the growth of the firm.
