Nicolas Peixoto, a partner at Ogletree Deakins since 2020, practices all aspects of employment and social security law for French and international groups, as well as for listed companies and those with a public service mission.
He has developed particular expertise in the management of psycho-social risks in the context of company restructurings or closures, in the negotiation of collective social agreements and in the revision of remuneration policies, as well as in litigation relating to accidents and occupational diseases.
He appears before labour and civil courts and the labour authorities, and is involved in the conduct of internal investigations, particularly in cases of harassment or corruption, and in the management of litigation arising from such investigations.
Nicolas Peixoto provides training on current issues and questions relating to the management of relations with French and European staff representatives, the management of negotiations and working time, and has developed expertise in the specificities of certain French departments (Mayotte, Réunion).
He regularly lectures on labour law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and runs workshops for AFJE and IDS. He also runs training courses for the MEDEF and the ANDRH, as well as sessions for the Club du Droit Social. He is the author of articles in legal journals.
