Nicolas Peixoto has been a Partner at Ogletree Deakins since 2020. He advises French and international groups, as well as listed companies and entities entrusted with public service missions, on all aspects of employment and social security law.
He has developed particular expertise in managing psychosocial risks in the context of corporate restructurings and business closures, collective bargaining and the redesign of collective employment frameworks, employment compliance matters, the restructuring of compensation policies, and occupational accident and occupational disease litigation.
He represents clients before employment and civil courts, as well as labor authorities, and assists with the implementation of internal investigation processes, particularly in matters involving harassment or corruption allegations, as well as the management of litigation arising from such investigations.
Nicolas regularly delivers training on current employment law developments and issues relating to employee representative bodies at both French and European levels, collective bargaining, and working time regulations. He has also developed expertise in employment law issues specific to certain French overseas territories, including Mayotte and La Réunion.
He regularly lectures in employment law at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University and leads workshops for the AFJE and IDS, as well as training sessions for MEDEF, ANDRH, and the Club du Droit Social. He is the author of articles published in legal journals.
Nicolas is recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” in the Legal 500 EMEA international guide and by Best Lawyers in the “Labor & Employment Law” category in France.
He is fluent in French and English.
