Stéphane Bloch has been a partner at Ogletree Deakins since 2021 and is recognised for his experience in all aspects of employment law, particularly in public and semi-public companies and “statutory” companies employing staff under private law. He has also developed expertise in the application of employment law within local authorities.


Stéphane is a member of the Créteil Labour Court and regularly gives training courses, in particular on staff representation, collective bargaining and trade union law. He also lectures for AvoSial (the association of employment lawyers) on highly specialised topics such as the transfer of staff between the public and private sectors and the administrative supervision of employment protection schemes.
In addition to public sector employment law, Stéphane Bloch has also developed expertise in professional sports employment law.


Stéphane Bloch is active in the academic world and teaches labour law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and individual labour relations at the University of Paris Est-Créteil. He gives lectures at Lefebvre Dalloz Compétences, Assises du Droit Social, Rencontres du Droit Social and workshops at the Institut du Droit Social. He also participates in thematic conferences organised by the Club du Droit Social.
He is the author of numerous articles in legal journals and is listed as a “recommended lawyer” in the international guide Legal 500 EMEA.
