Stéphane Bloch has been a Partner at Ogletree Deakins since 2021. He has developed recognized expertise across all areas of employment law, with a particular focus on public and semi-public sector organizations, as well as so-called “special-status” companies employing private-law employees. He has also developed significant expertise in the application of employment law within local government authorities.
Stéphane regularly delivers training sessions, particularly on employee representative bodies, collective bargaining rules, and trade union law. He is also a speaker for AvoSial (the association of employment lawyers) and frequently presents on highly specialized topics, including employee transfers between the public and private sectors and the administrative review of redundancy plans (PSEs).
In addition to his work in employment law within the public sector, Stéphane has developed expertise in employment law as applied to professional sports.
Actively involved in academia, Stéphane teaches employment law at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University and lectures at Paris-Est Créteil University on individual employment relationships. He regularly speaks at conferences organized by Lefebvre Dalloz Compétences, the Assises du Droit Social, the Rencontres du Droit Social, the Institut du Droit Social, and the Club du Droit Social.
He is the author of numerous articles published in legal journals and is recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” in the Legal 500 EMEA international guide.
